He noted that to combat the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 "different modes can be used."

So, he noted that “strict quarantine, floating some kind of events, which, say, when restrictions are introduced on weekends,” can be applied.

“Such an option also exists in these models and can be used,” said Murashko.

Answering the question of whether “such a format is possible in Russia, when the introduction of quarantine and its abolition will gradually alternate,” the minister said that “of course, it is possible.”

Earlier it was reported that in Russia, 8779 cases of coronavirus infection were detected per day. In total, 502,436 people have been ill with COVID-19 since the outbreak.
