His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs said, “(Mubadala) is an embodiment of our values as a country, and will continue to play its leading role as a global investor contributing to achieving value in the UAE and all the societies in which we operate.”
In a speech on the occasion of the annual report of Mubadala Investment Company, His Highness added: “We will continue, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to work to achieve the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, through Creating opportunities for citizens and enhancing our global presence for the benefit of future generations. ”
And His Highness continued: “For more than two decades, (Mubadala) has been a valuable contribution to achieving the aspirations of our country and is still moving forward on the path of progress and growth. Through its investments inside and outside the country, Mubadala has contributed to laying strong foundations for our non-oil economy, after it created completely new sectors and worked on developing them, and provided the necessary infrastructure for the welfare of the Emirati society and the prosperity of the local economy.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the importance of these contributions was evident when the UAE joined the global efforts to combat the emerging Corona pandemic (Covid-19). He added: “We are proud of the effective participation of (Mubadala) in those international efforts.” He pointed out that Mubadala Healthcare was at the forefront of those initiating those efforts at the local level, while the companies affiliated with Mubadala, inside and outside the country, initiated a presentation Various contributions to address this crisis, in a living embodiment of our institutional values.
