The Civil Guard investigates the father of a minor of eight years , after suffering an accident with a motorcycle he was riding in the municipality of Poio ( Pontevedra ). The boy was seriously injured and had to be hospitalized.

As reported by the Armed Institute, the incident took place at about 7:30 pm last Saturday, June 6, on an esplanade near the place of A Escusa , in the municipality of Poio.

Upon learning of the accident, he moved to place one team Atestados of the Subsector Traffic Civil Guard Pontevedra. There, the agents verified that it was a minor of eight years of age, who "had suffered an accident while riding a motorcycle that had no license plate, lacked compulsory insurance and documentation," the same sources have indicated.

The boy was "seriously injured," said the Benemérita, and was evacuated by ambulance to a hospital center. He was accompanied by his father, Poio's neighbor.

The parent has been informed that his investigation was proceeding by "inductive co-authorship" of two alleged crimes; one against road safety for allowing a minor to drive a motor vehicle without permission, and another crime for reckless injuries.

The Traffic Subsector of the Civil Guard of Pontevedra recalls that, in terms of road safety, "the model of behavior for adults should serve as a guide for minors."
