While the amusement parks are gradually reopening, Disneyland Paris has still not announced an official resumption date. Discussions between management and the unions will continue this weekend. In the meantime, the health protocol for reopening is being refined.

This Thursday marks the reopening of the Puy du Fou theme park in Vendée. And in a few days, on June 15, it will be the turn of Parc Astérix to reopen its doors to the public. On the side of Disneyland Paris on the other hand, the vagueness remains topical. Before announcing a recovery date, the management of the Seine-et-Marne amusement park, the leading single-site employer in France with around 15,000 employees, wants to be sure that the region will pass well in the green zone. The reopening could therefore take place this summer, but no official date has yet been announced.

The number of visitors will be limited

In the meantime, management is working on the health protocol to be implemented. We already know that the number of visitors will be limited. However, the gauge is not yet clearly defined. However, wearing a mask will be compulsory for everyone, staff and visitors. In the queues, it will be necessary to respect the rules of physical distance between the groups.

In the same way, it will be necessary to leave one vacant seat out of two in the attractions. In the attraction inspired by the "Pirates of the Caribbean" saga, for example, it will be possible to board boats of five to six rows with family or friends, provided that you leave one row free with the following group.

Question mark about hotels

Shows should also be avoided to limit gatherings. The question of opening hotels has not yet been decided.
