Benoit Almeras, 34, has just completed the Grenoble School of Journalism (EJDG). Holder of a master's degree in political science and studying at the National School of Geographic Sciences, Benoît has carried out several radio internships, at Radio France, Mayotte 1ère and RFI.

The four candidates, short-listed by a first jury, presented a full 10-minute diary with audio elements, and a short report illustrating a recent event in the news. They then passed an interview before a limited jury for health reasons, composed of RFI editors.

The jury particularly appreciated his good personal and professional knowledge of international and particularly African files. During the newspaper test, Benoit knew how to prioritize information perfectly and during his interview with the jury, he demonstrated a sincere motivation to join the RFI teams.
