It is P4 Jönköping who reports that the prosecutor has asked for the newly arrived suspect man to get a defender. But the prosecutor does not currently want to comment on how the man who is 40 years of age is suspected of being involved in the shooting.

Another three men are already reasonably suspected of the murder, which is the lower level of suspicion. They were detained for a week but later released as there was insufficient evidence to bolster suspicion.

Happened early evening

It was early on Thursday evening, May 14, that the police received an alert about a suspected violent crime at a playground on Havsörnsgatan on Råslätt. A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but his life could not be saved, but he died as a result of his injuries. Several nearby residents with whom SVT spoke say they heard several shots and then saw the man bleeding profusely just next to the playground.

"He was bleeding a lot," said a neighbor the day after the deed.

SVT has previously spoken to several people, including a relative who confirms the identity of the victim. It is a man from Jönköping who has been known in criminal circles. More about that in the clip below.
