“Dear Mr. Director Myrskog! We now turn to you. We do it because of worry, frustration and anger. "

This is how the letter begins, which addresses the region's handling of a Ljungbye doctor, which was immediately shut down due to errors in its working hours reporting.

The letter, signed by doctors from Ljungby and Växjö, criticizes not only the handling of the Ljungbyläkaren, but also that the directly responsible did not respond to an earlier letter regarding the same case.

Here's how they write:

“The handling of the letter is as clear an example of shortcomings in staffing as the original staff matter. It testifies to an arrogance and imperfection that seriously damages the trust of the management ”.

Several specialists who have stopped at the Ljungby laser hospital are said to have done so due to the current situation. It all shows a mismatch in the organization, says doctors who warn that the care and patients are affected.

Thoughtful about transparency

Regional Director Martin Myrskog took note of the letter a week ago, and says he takes the letter very seriously. At the same time, he is thoughtful about whether anyone who has signed really has insight into what has happened in the mentioned personnel case.

- It is clear that this is serious, but we do not know how much information everyone has about the matter, since it is a confidential staff matter.

"Just losers"

Martin Myrskog says he now wants a dialogue with the doctors to answer the questions that exist.

- I have sent an e-mail to all the doctors who have signed and said that I will answer all questions, I am keen on taking the dialogue.

- In this case there are only losers, we have a staff member who is subject to a labor law investigation, we have patients who are affected, but also we as an organization are losers given the strong expressions in the letter, says Martin Myrskog.
