British video game designer and programmer Taylor Gallayl has added a clever new idea to the face muzzle for people who feel frustrated when trying to communicate with others and their mouths covered with masks during the Corona pandemic, as part of the latest inventions to combat the virus.

Gallayel was able to create a cloth muzzle, in the forefront of which is a group of LED lights that work and illuminate when the person wearing it speaks, so that it simulates the movement of the mouth when opening and closing.

A set of 16 lights can be used to create a smile if the person wearing it sounds a tongue.

"I had a random idea for her," Gallayel said in an interview with the British channel "BBC" about the origin of the muzzle project. "I was wondering if it was possible to find a face mask that lights up in the form of a mouth, and I tried to find such an idea on the Internet, but I didn't Find anything

The lights can be installed on the cloth and it is easy to remove when washing the muzzle, and the LED lights can be sterilized from time to time by means of ultraviolet radiation.

This mask can be made with a basic set of components that are available in most electronics stores, including electronic wires, microphones, adapters, and electrical tape.

Gallayel posted the steps of making the muzzle step by step on his website, with materials that totaled $ 50. "I do not plan to sell this mask, so everyone can make his own," Gallayel said.

And Galayel published the necessary computer "code" in order to operate the voice recognition mechanism and turn on the LED lights on the "Githap" website, although users may need to modify the "code" based on the components used to make the muzzle.
