On Wednesday, it was time for prosecutors to present a solution to the case that has haunted investigators for 34 years: the murder of Prime Minister Olof Palme. At today's historic press conference, Stig Engström was singled out as the likely perpetrator, in a two-hour press conference.
- I think we have come as far as you can ask. We do not come around a person as a perpetrator. That person is Stig Engström, was the message from the preliminary investigator.
And from the reactions on Twitter to judge, the press conference has been met with disappointment.
“ Embarrassingly bad that the conclusion is only based on testimony. Where is the technical evidence, ”writes another twitter user.
“The disappointment is huge. No technical clues and serious accusations against a deceased man who cannot defend himself. Palme deserved better than this ”.

One very specific point from the press conference that seemed to amuse some is the powerpoint presentation.
