In Jakuzia, a Russian region located in eastern Siberia, due to the self-isolation due to the spread of Covid-19, numerous villages have been invaded by moose, which run undisturbed and bathe in nearby waterways. According to local shamans, it is the spirit of nature that sends positive and optimistic signals, to give people the strength not to give up on the coronavirus. For shamans, the moose is a messenger of the spirit of nature, who wants to help fight Covid-19. Wild animals - they argue - have joined together to fight the coronavirus and this is the signal for humans to do the same. This is why shamans have imposed a ban on hunting these animals out of population centers.
