According to the Swedish Transport Administration, the accident must have a major impact on the traffic and the road has been shut down.
"The road is closed in both directions," says Katarina Wolffram, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.
Rescue services are in place - and so far there is no information on any injured.
