The team Neutrala IF was penalized on the wrong grounds after the match last fall, which SVT can reveal today.

But GFF also punished the wrong players for the abuse. After the match, the referee wrote in his report that Ikar Amia appeared and punched him in the stomach. He also writes that Ikar gave the assistant judge a fist blow "so he starts bleeding his teeth".

The judge now tells again about the abuse, which led to him being sick for three weeks.

- I was jumped from behind with a fist bump in the back of my head. Then a lot of players got involved and I was hit several times in the back of my head and so on. It was three to four players who beat, he says.

In the judge's first report, he mentioned three players who beat him and his colleague, but two of them later turned out not to be involved in the brawl.

"Things like that can happen"

- It was a witness who came to me after the match. And said, I know the name of the leader who hit your colleague. He said it was Ikar, but it was wrong. I made a police report to Ikar, but it turned out to be wrong.

What do you think about the wrong person being hanged?

"Things like that can happen in situations like this when there are so many players around one," the judge says.

Suspension cases are handled by GFF's disciplinary committee. They decided that Ikar would be shut down for two years.

SvFF amends GFF's decision

Neutrala IF and Ikar Amia continued to run the case and sent film clips and pictures to the Swedish Football Association. On February 19, they released Ikar, citing the film. And the association wants to be clear that they distance themselves from all violence.

- The information I got afterwards is that a player attacked the referee. This is something we do not accept. It is totally wrong of that player, says Abdiaziz Abdikadir, founder of the Neutral Association who also tells that player was suspended from the team.

In the clip above, GFF Chairman Bert Andersson responds to the criticism. But he also refers to the disciplinary committee. Their secretary states that they went on the judge's report when Ikar was turned off, and that the movie he showed was unclear.
