On November 3, Neutrala IF played against Tynnered, in a qualifying match for division five ( see pictures from the match in the clip above ). After the referee blew a free kick for Tynnered, several players from Neutrala IF were upset and went to the referee. Then the sentences fall apart about what happened. But that the referee was beaten, by one or more players from Neutrala IF, that's all agreed. And that it is unacceptable.

After the match, the Gothenburg Football Federation decided that Neutrala IF may not play the men's series in football for 2020, and that they should also not participate in the futsal series 2019/2020. They based their decision on a provision that excludes the team from "the series the team participates in" in the event of a serious offense.

"Futsal another sport"

But both of these decisions were wrong, says the Swedish Football Association in a decision from January. "The series the team participates in" at this time means the qualifying series - and not the game in division six next season. And futsal is a sport of its own, and is not covered by the regulations.

The Swedish Football Association "inhibits enforcement" in January, which means that Neutrala IF should not be shut down, neither from division six nor the futsal series. If GFF wants to punish Neutral, it must be done in a way "that supports the rules for football", writes SvFF.

Refers to the "spirit mind"

- Then the hope was created, now we will play again. It was a great joy. That justice emerged. But we still couldn't play, says Abdiaziz Abdikadir.

For GFF, a new case began, where in February they made the same decision to suspend the men's team with reference to the "spirit" of the provision that has not yet begun to apply. However, they back away from their decision regarding the Futsal series. But during winter and spring, Neutrala IF is still off, in both sports.

 - We do not think we are guilty of such a severe punishment. To kill a team that is in a vulnerable area struggling for young people to get involved, to say "no, you should not play football" on a baseless decision. It does not go together, says Abdikadir Abdiaziz.

Used invalid provision

On May 25, the Swedish Football Association once again gives Neutrala the right and pleads that they should be reintroduced into the series. This time, GFF has referred to a provision on violence against salaried employees that became effective only at the turn of the year and which cannot therefore be applied, according to SvFF.

GFF has also appealed the new decision, but states that Neutrala will be allowed to play series games in division six. However, they give Neutral themselves the task of booking upcoming matches.

Bert Andersson, chairman of GFF, responds to the criticism in the clip above.
