  The announcement quoted Borelli, the European Union’s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, as saying that Lebanon and Jordan’s hosting of Syrian refugees demonstrated a strong tenacity and solidarity, and the EU has a responsibility to continue to support the two countries, especially during the new coronary pneumonia epidemic.
