In June 1987, an event was held on the 10th to commemorate the June 10 Democratic Rebellion, a national democratization movement against the military dictatorship.

The government held a ceremony to commemorate the 6th and 10th Democratic Rebellion of the 33rd Anniversary at the scheduled site of the Democratic Human Rights Museum in Namyeong-dong, Yongsan-gu at 10 am on the day.

This year's commemoration ceremony, held under the theme of'flowering', took place in the old air chamber of Namyeong-dong, last year.

A memorial in honor of the democratization movement will be set up here, a place that represents violence and human rights oppression by the former military regime.

More than 70 people attended the ceremony, including key figures from the political and political relations, personnel from the Democratization Movement, and descendants from the Democratization Movement.

Last year, more than 400 people gathered, but this year, the size of the event was significantly reduced to prevent the spread of Corona19.

The commemoration ceremony began with a video highlighting the history of the democratization movement, the spirit of solidarity and cooperation, leading to the April 19 Revolution, the Democratic Democratic Republic of Korea, the May 18 Democratic Movement, and the June 10 Democratic Movement.

Then, the National People's Democratic Family Council (Yugaga), the Democratization Practical Family Movement Council (People's Association) and the descendants of the national anthem were proposed, and the president's presidential democracy movement commemorative project chairman's meditation was held.

The progress report contained a message expressing gratitude and tribute to those who contributed to the development of Korean democracy, reminiscing the history and meaning of the 6/10 democracy.

The reading was played by actor Park Won-sang, who served as a permanent advisor to the former Democratic United Party, Kim Geun-tae, in the movie Namyoung-dong 1985.

Bae Eun-Shim, the mother of the late family of late Han Yeol-Yeol, honorary chairman of the National People's Democratic Family Council (Yugaga), read the letter to the 10th of June.

Honorary Chairman Bae has devoted himself to the democratization movement since his son, Han-yeol Lee, died after being killed by police tear gas during a protest against the military regime on June 9, 1987.
