A drug case was opened in connection with an accident involving Efremov

It is reported by the Moscow Interior Ministry.

“During the investigation, the fact of selling drugs to the driver by unidentified persons was established. The Main Investigation Department has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia, ”the statement said.

In the evening of June 8, the car, which was driven by Efremov, drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into a van. The driver of the van died in the hospital. An examination established that Efremov was driving intoxicated.

Later, the prosecutor's office reported that drugs were also found in the actor’s blood.
