“There were no such appeals at the government level, but there was an appeal to me from the mayor of Buenos Aires, Horacio Larreta, in terms of the supply of protective medical materials for the fight against coronavirus,” Tass quotes Russian Ambassador to Buenos Aires Dmitry Feoktistov.
He noted that this appeal was reported to Moscow.
According to him, at the moment the appeal is being considered.
On May 9, Argentine President Alberto Fernandez announced that the quarantine imposed on March 20 was extended until May 24.
