The 37-year-old man was 21 years old in 2004 when the murders of eight-year-old boy Mohammed Ammouri and language teacher Anna-Lena Svensson occurred in early October morning in central Linköping. Not much is known about the 37-year-old man's life from murder until today.

But the 37-year-old seems to have lived a still life on the surface. He has previously been punished, has no payment remarks or debts at Kronofogden or has had any conflicts with authorities.

"Overall and calm"

He was arrested during Tuesday morning, under calm forms of the regional intervention force, in his residence in Linköping, to which he moved in September 2009. The man is unmarried and lives alone. His lawyer, Johan Ritzer, is wordy about the 37-year-old's past. But he describes the man as gathered when he was suspected.
- I can't go into my experience of him that much. But he was collected and calm in relation to all this heavy that is now loading him, he says.

Unclear motive

The 37-year-old man has not made any big money. For the past three years he has been earning about SEK 100,000 annually. He does not appear to have had any major activity in social media. It is still unclear what the 37-year-old should have had for motives when he killed the eight-year-old boy and the language teacher.
- Unfortunately, I can't go into that kind of question right now. I have no answer to give, says the man's lawyer to SVT News.

According to the lawyer, the man's recognition came immediately after he was given suspicion.
