BFMTV and BFM Paris will broadcast on Wednesday June 24 a debate between the three candidates for mayor of Paris qualified for the second round, Agnès Buzyn (LREM), Rachida Dati (LR) and the outgoing mayor Anne Hidalgo (PS), announced Tuesday the two news channels.

The two chains had planned to organize this "decisive debate" between the two rounds in March, but the event had obviously been postponed sine die due to the cancellation of the second round of municipal elections scheduled for March 22, due of the coronavirus crisis. This second round was finally rescheduled on June 28.

The debate of BFTMV and BFM Paris, news channels of the Altice group, will be broadcast live from 8.45 p.m. and presented by Ruth Elkrief and Apolline de Malherbe (BFMTV), accompanied by Fanny Wegscheider of BFM Paris and David Doukhan of the daily Le Parisian.

The evening will also be broadcast on BFMTV sites and applications and on several social networks and video platforms.

Two televised debates had been organized between the main heads of lists in Paris before the 1st round: one had taken place on March 4 on LCI, and the second had been organized on March 10 by franceinfo, France 3 Paris Ile-de -France and France Bleu Paris.
