The incident happened last year at Linnaeus University in Växjö during a forensic lesson, according to the Småland Post. A female student was photographing fingerprints when the convicted man hit her hard on the butt and said, "You like this".
This has been confirmed by several witnesses during the trial.
Växjö District Court considers that the act was objectively designed to violate the course mate's sexual integrity. He is sentenced to 40 daily fines and will pay SEK 5,000 in damages to the woman.
