The organizers of the evening's demonstration at Möllevångstorget in Malmö are Aktivista Feminista First Aid, Asylum Group in Malmö and Aktivista Feminista according to information on the event's Facebook page.

- The right to demonstration is regulated in the Constitution and freedom of expression is very far-reaching in our country. Normally, you need a permit, says police spokesman Ewa-Gun Westford.

Gather at Möllevångstorget

Last week, a similar demonstration was held, at Ribersborg, which the police dissolved when it violated the government's decision to ban gatherings of more than 50 people. Tuesday's demonstration will be held at Möllevångstorget in Malmö.

- It will look completely different on the site this time so we will adapt to it. The important thing is that everyone has a responsibility to help not spread infection. We appeal to everyone's common sense.

"Great respect for the message"

According to Ewa-Gun Westford, police will be on site and monitor developments during the afternoon and evening.

- The 50-person rule applies whether it is quiet or not, but we have great respect for the message. There are many emotions that lie beneath the surface and we have no reason to step up by acting with any kind of violence, says Ewa-Gun Westford.
