In South Africa, a gorilla took a helicopter to the hospital to do a CT scan.

The gorilla's name is Makoku, a 35-year-old male.

Since last month, Makoku has been treated at the zoo because his nose is swollen, but the condition has not improved, so he decided to do a CT scan in the hospital.

However, because of the massive body weight of 210kg, there was no hospital near the zoo equipped with equipment to support Makoku, so he had to take a helicopter to the hospital 64km away.

I had to gather more than 5 people to lift it from the stretcher under anesthesia.

Fortunately, Makoku arrived at the hospital and completed a comprehensive health checkup, including blood and radiation tests.

The test showed that it wasn't a major illness, and the swelling of the nose was due to chronic rhinitis with inflammatory polyps in the nose.

After completing simple treatment, Makoku is said to have returned to the zoo in a healthy way.

The netizens said, "The rhinitis is really painful, but Makoku has a lot of trouble... cheer up!" They responded, such as "I can get a gorilla into the CT machine and I don't have any problems gaining weight."
