June 9, 2020 A boy died hit by a car late yesterday evening in Rome. It happened in the Infernetto area, in via Francesco Cilea. Numerous local police patrols and 118 intervened on the spot. Health personnel tried to revive him, but there was nothing to be done. At the wheel, a 22-year-old young man, who stopped, was transported to the Grassi hospital for the usual tests and tested positive for the toxicological test. The magistrate on duty therefore ordered his arrest. The young man will probably be tried for direct.

Last night, the boy had gone for a walk with friends to celebrate the last day of school. They were crossing the road in a group when the car arrived on the strips like a bullet, missing the other kids by miracle, splashed back and forth, but hitting the 14 year old (15 according to other sources) jumped on the windshield and flew to the ground before the Peugeot stopped much further. On site, dozens of upset kids, relatives, acquaintances of the victim. And the young man's mom. "He was 14 years old, a life ahead of me and they mowed him like that," she would say heartbroken. "They had to take the driver out of the car because they were lynching him," the witnesses say. The local police officers, busy with the findings with the carabinieri, remained until night to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
