- The winegrowers decided to give a bottle to each agent at Blaye hospital and the two attached Ehpad.
- They also take part in the big auction organized by the CIVB in favor of the CHUs of Bordeaux and Libourne.
The Blaye hospital officers must have smiled a little when they received their May pay slip. Not because the number at the bottom of the sheet has greatly increased, but because it was accompanied by another small piece of paper in the envelope. A nominative gift voucher for a bottle of AOC Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux wine. “For us winegrowers, this is our way of saying thank you. Everyone will have their bottle. There are 550 bottles in all for the 550 agents of the hospital but also of the two Ehpad attached to the establishment, those of Blaye and Bourg ”, explains Mickaël Rouyer, the director of the wine union of Blaye.
No one has been forgotten. Doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, administrative, technical, IT staff ... Anyone can come and pick up their bottle at the Maison du vin in Blaye for a few days and there is no time limit to collect it.
A large auction of 500 lots
This beautiful thank you operation will be followed by another in the coming days. The union will also participate in the operation "Bordeaux wines say thank you" organized by the CIVB (Interprofessional Council of Bordeaux Wine). This is a major auction for the benefit of the nursing staff of CHU Pellegrin de Bordeaux and CH de Libourne. It will take place from June 15 to 21. Fifteen lots of AOC Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux will be sold with "reds and whites," says Mickaël Rouyer, "in all more than 450 bottles donated by the winemakers of the appellation. "
