The World Health Organization (WHO) supports protests against racism in various countries, including the United States, but has urged to follow safety guidelines to prevent the spread of corona19, such as wearing a mask.

WHO Secretary-General of the World, Edward Hanad Governor Yeosu, said in a video press briefing held at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, at local time.

He said, "WHO fully supports the global movement against equality and racism. We reject all kinds of discrimination."

He said to keep the distance between the protesters at least 1 meter away, to keep his hands clean, to keep coughing etiquette and to wear a mask.

The secretary-general said that more than 136,000 cases of new confirmations were reported the previous day, the highest number per day.
