- Search. Three months of the Civil Guard encirclement to the 'Rambo de Requena'
The Civil Guard has arrested this Monday in the Teruel town of Andorra the Rambo de Requena, which he was looking for since early in the afternoon, after injuring an agent in Muniesa during a shooting.
According to the first information, the wounded man has received a shotgun blast in the abdominal area, is stable and has been taken by helicopter to the Miguel Servet hospital in Zaragoza.
The attack had taken place, according to Civil Guard sources, at 3:30 p.m. when two Muniesa civil guards went to identify a vehicle and the driver responded by opening fire on one of the officers.
The mayors of Muniesa, Andorra and Loscos had issued two sides to ask residents not to leave the house as a precaution.
Both Andorra and Loscos confirm that it is the Rambo Requena, but the Civil Guard has only confirmed, for now, the arrest of the author of the shooting without specifying his identification.
The Loscos consistory had issued the following statement: "All the population is requested to remain locked up in their homes, at the notice of the Civil Guard, after having been seen in Muniesa whom they call 'Rambo de Requena' and having had to carry out some shot against the Civil Guard ".
The Mayor of Andorra, Antonio Amador , contacted his neighbors through social networks, stating "that the Civil Guard is looking for the 'Rambo de Requena' in the surroundings of the municipality".
Last week the man known as 'Rambo Requena' was searched in the Teruel area.
The first criminal act that the authorities attribute to this person occurred last February 25 after illegally occupying a home in the Los Cojos de Requena district.
The modus operandi of this person is to enter uninhabited houses, steal food and stealing vehicles, regardless of make use of violence and intimidation. Later these cars are abandoned or found wrecked.
His last performance, before Muniesa, took place in the Valencian town of Chelva. There he stole an off-road vehicle and after shooting his owner with a clipped-barreled shotgun loaded with modified cartridges from which he had removed the lead.
The suspect, who is not very adept at driving, fled down the road to La Yesa and had an accident, continuing to escape on foot.

During the first months of the search, the Civil Guard could not identify the criminal who had terrified the Los Serranos region. However, the prints left on the last car he stole were collated and resulted in a young man from the Port of Sagunto (Valencia) with a history of burglary in homes.
The Burriana Civil Guard (Castellón) attributes several burglaries to houses in the town of Vall d'Uixó that he allegedly committed in September 2019.
As it happened in the interior regions, he accessed the houses, almost all second residences that for a long time are empty, and stayed to live in them. There she got groceries and vehicles stole them to change from one to the other.
