“According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on June 8, 37 forest fires on an area of 956 hectares were eliminated in Russia,” the press service said.
According to the service, as of midnight on June 9 in Russia there were 19 forest fires on an area of more than 6.5 thousand ha.
Earlier, tverigrad.ru reported that the governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya and the head of EMERCOM of Russia Yevgeny Zinichev discussed their readiness to extinguish landscape fires in the fire hazard season of 2020.
