The Human Resources Department in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, represented in the Sharjah Medical Zone, has started examining employees of the Sharjah government, who are expected to return to work, to ensure their safety before starting work.

The department has begun coordinating with the departments and bodies and institutions of the Sharjah government to direct all their employees, citizens and residents, to conduct the examination for the new Corona virus (Covid-19) free of charge, in the examination site created specifically for this purpose at the headquarters of the Chess Club in Sharjah.

Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and head of the Human Resources Department, Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, said that the bodies were divided into groups so that the number of those present for examination at the headquarters during the day does not exceed 200 people. This is to ensure the application of the precautionary measures represented in the physical spacing, and to leave distances of up to two meters between each employee, while wearing gloves and adhering to covering the nose and mouth with gags.

He added that the examination headquarters began receiving the employees of the Sharjah government, conducting checks, and taking vital signs for the employees to early detection the cases of "Covid-19". According to the schedules prepared for their attendance, the employee will be notified in advance of the date of his examination. The examination headquarters will receive staff from nine in the morning until one in the afternoon.

And that the resources of Sharjah were keen to coordinate with the Sharjah Medical Zone to carry out the examination through sites in the central region and the eastern region, taking into account the remote areas of staff housing, and to facilitate their arrival at the examination headquarters.

He clarified that the great response from the government of Sharjah to send its employees for examination, and the employees' response and cooperation at the inspection headquarters. He expressed his confidence in covering all employees of the Sharjah government in all the cities and regions of the emirate, within a short period, before returning to workplaces. He pointed out the importance of this examination in making sure that a large segment of society is free of the virus, which is the staff segment. And it contributes to achieving the general safety of all citizens and residents on the territory of the Emirate. It supports the great efforts made by the Sharjah government in implementing all precautionary measures to limit the spread of corona.
