A man in his twenties was chased by a dog on the Indonesian resort of Bali, and was rescued in six days after falling into a secluded reservoir 5m deep.

According to the Bali Post, residents discovered that a man named Jacob Matthew Robert (29) fell into the reservoir of Barungun in Bali on the 6th.

The owner of the reservoir said, "Fortunately, the reservoir wasn't full of water, but it was 5 meters deep and couldn't be raised. I was more cautious because I was a foreigner because of the prevalence of Corona 19."

The police and the rescue team, who received the report, put on a stretcher and sent Jacob to the hospital with a broken leg.

Jacob told the police, "I was chased by a dog and fell into a water tank and stayed locked for six days." "I kept yelling for help because my leg was broken and couldn't move, but no one came to me," he said.

The reservoir is more than 500 meters from the residential area.

The reservoir owners and residents provided water and food to Jacob before the rescue team arrived.

Many island-free dogs travel around Bali, so be careful when traveling.

On December 14, last year, three dogs with rabies had an emergency asking 10 people, including 3 foreign tourists and 7 locals, during the day.

The local government of the island of Bali is pursuing plans to make rabies free by 2020, but there are still many known vaccinated dogs.
