The Committee on Constitutional, Legislative Affairs and Appeals in the Federal National Council discussed, during its "remote" meeting, the topic "Efforts of the Ministry of Justice regarding the development of the legal profession." The head of the committee, Kifah Al-Zaabi, said that the committee discusses the topic within several axes: the Ministry of Justice policy regarding services provided to lawyers and their obligations, the challenges facing the work of lawyers in the state, and the Ministry's efforts in developing the Judicial Training Institute. Article 92 of the constitution stipulates the following: “The Federal National Council shall discuss any general issue related to the affairs of the Union, unless the Council of Ministers informs the Council that discussing this issue is contrary to the supreme interests of the Union, and the Prime Minister or the competent minister attends the debate.”
