07 June 2020The accident last night in Riva di Tures, in South Tyrol. The victim is the 43-year-old mountain rescue officer at Campo Tures Lukas Forer.

The man slipped while he was disassembling the rescue tools used during the exercise. Falling, he ended up in the stream and then fell from the waterfalls of Riva di Tures.
The comrades recovered him after a few minutes, but Forer was now dead.



The carabinieri and the helper Pellikan 2 also intervened on the spot.

Protection The Civil Protection expressed deep condolences for the loss of the volunteer of the Alpine Rescue Alpenverein Südtirol.
