ENCE-Finnish team is seen as midsummer week being played on a half-million dollar Counter-Strike tournament.
ENCE knocked out the Danish MAD Lions 2-1 (16-13 Train, 22-18 Mirage) in the first final of the BLAST Showdown qualifier today Sunday. ENCE snatched a shared qualifier without losing a single match in the tournament.
Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen, 18, was ENCE's best player in an important match statistically.
In the train, the Finns were at a loss of 2–5 and 7–11, but the map went to ENCE with a result of 16–13. Nine of the last ten rounds of the map ended in the victory of the Finns.
In Mirage, ENCE started strongly, quickly moving as cops to a 7-3 lead. The score was then 11-4. ENCE raised the lead by spectacularly winning the pistol round, but then the Danish Danes began a wild rise.
The MAD Lions closed the gap round by round and moved to the 15-13 lead, but ENCE took the map to overtime. The first overtime went evenly, but the next ended with ENCE winning 22-18.
“Jamppi” alone destroyed the entire Danish team in a pistol round:

The shared qualifier victory ENCE acknowledged place on Midsummer week, played at half a million dollars BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 -finaaliturnaukseen. The eight-team tournament will be played June 15-22.
In addition to ENCE, at least Complexity, G2 Na`Vi, FaZe Clan and Aleksi “Aleksib” Estonian-starred OG will play in the final tournament. Today’s seat to the tournament will be redeemed from the second qualifying final for NiP or Vitality. The loser of this match will play from last place against MAD Lions on Monday, June 15th.
