Closed since March 30 due to the coronavirus crisis, Nantes airport will reopen its doors to passengers from Monday morning. Commercial flights will gradually resume. "The flight programs will soon be completed for July / August / September," says airport management.
Air France reopens its Nantes-Lyon route on June 8, with flights on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. Resumption also of its Nantes-Roissy line, from June 9 (flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays).
The easyJet company reopens three destinations: Geneva from June 16 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday), Lyon from June 18 (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) and Nice from June 18 (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday).
Corsica favored by Volotea
Volotea favors national destinations, including Corsica: from June 17 to Montpellier (seven days a week) and Bastia (every day except Tuesday), from June 18 to Ajaccio (seven days a week except Wednesday) and Figari (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday), from June 19 to Nice (Friday, Sunday) and Strasbourg (Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday).
Portugal becomes accessible again with Transavia, with flights to Lisbon from June 15 (Monday, Saturday), Porto from June 15 (Tuesday, Saturday) and Faro from June 19 (Friday).
Finally, Ryanair offers, from June 23, a Nantes-Marseille line on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Wearing a mandatory mask in the terminal
As a reminder, "new health measures are planned at the airport so that passengers can travel safely and with full confidence," explains the airport management. Wearing a mask will be compulsory (from 11 years old). Masks will be available for sale at the entrance to the terminal, so that non-equipped passengers can obtain them. During the very first days of resumption of traffic, to install this new habit, masks will be offered to passengers. Hydroalcoholic gel distribution terminals will also be installed at multiple points in the terminal.
