Ivar bought a sailboat: "We can't go out"

That the Stockholmers are planning for a holiday at home is clear. According to the buy and sell site Blocket, interest in recreational boats has increased.

- We have seen that searches on both motorboats and sailboats are increasing greatly. Boats suitable for beginners are popular, says Matilda Adelborg, press communicator at Blocket.

According to Blocket, booklets are sold by all boats within a week, something that Ivar Kassman noticed.

- There were many boats that sold very quickly. When I called the day after, it was gone, so soon it probably won't go, he says.

Ivar Kassman has spent his entire life on the lake and today works as a sea captain. That it can get crowded in the Stockholm archipelago is nothing that worries him.

- It's good for the archipelago industry. But it can be problematic if many are unaccustomed to boats, but on the other hand - it's not that difficult. They get to read about sea road rules so it goes well.
