The recent rain has put a great momentum on the spring river and in the western part of Jämtland there is a flood in many places, for example in the Åraktrakt.
Martin Lundberg in Duved is just one of several who have been affected by flooding in the area.
Even in Åre village, it is clearly visible how the water level has risen sharply in recent days.
SMHI has issued a class 2 warning and according to the forecast the water level will culminate on Sunday. The question, however, is whether the forecast holds.
