Activists on social media broadcast videos of a demonstration organized by migrant workers in the Tubli area, east of Bahrain, to protest against the non-payment of their financial dues due to the economic conditions resulting from the outbreak of the Corona virus.

Videos of Bahraini police cars circulating showed the activists, who activists said were besieging the protesters, and policemen carrying sticks as they pushed workers back.

In another segment, the workers were marching towards the protest site, chanting. According to the same source, the protest of migrant workers living in a residential complex for a company that recruits foreign workers in the Tubli region, is the first of its kind in Bahrain since the spread of the Corona virus in the Kingdom.

In their comments on the videos circulated on Twitter, activists demanded to correct the conditions of workers in Bahrain, and expressed sympathy for them in light of the spread of the virus and the difficult economic conditions in this Gulf country.

And singers considered that it is worth companies if they are not able to pay the salaries of migrant workers to cooperate with the relevant authorities in their countries to deport them, and not to let them live in these difficult circumstances.

On the other hand, Bahrainis considered that these demonstrations that took place in the Tubli area denigrated the country, demanding the expulsion and punishment of expatriates.
