During a telephone conversation, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, asked Kadyrov about the need to help other regions of the North Caucasus fight COVID-19.
“I replied that if the sheikh had the opportunity to provide support, then any help in the fight against the pandemic would not hurt our neighbors. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan immediately decided to provide humanitarian assistance to Ingushetia, North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia, ”the head of Chechnya wrote on his VKontakte page.
Kadyrov said that assistance will be delivered to Grozny Airport and then distributed to neighboring regions.
He added that, at the request of the Crown Prince, the UAE will coordinate this work.
Earlier it became known that the UAE will send two aircraft with medical supplies to Chechnya and Dagestan.
On June 1, the first board arrived with medical aid from the UAE in Grozny.
