President Moon Jae-in attended the 65th Memorial Day held at the National Daejeon Memorial Hall today (6th) and prayed for the dedication of the nation and the honor of the spirits of the country.

Initially, this memorial ceremony was planned to be held at the National Seoul Memorial Hall, but recently, the area was moved to Daejeon as the regional anti-corruption was strengthened in the aftermath of Corona 19.

The Blue House explained that the location change was decided by President Moon himself.

Kang Min-suk, a spokesman for the Blue House, said, "The president's judgment was that he couldn't miss the memorial ceremony for the patriarchal spirit that gave his life for the country."

President Moon attended Memorial Day every year after taking office in May 2017.

President Moon entered the memorial ceremony held with the theme of'I remember you in the name of Korea' with the veterans of the Korean War, as well as independent merit, democrats, and corona19 survivors.

The Jangsa Landing Operation was a two-way battle held in Jangsa-ri, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk, on September 14, 1950, one day before the Incheon Landing Operation.

In addition, the son of Sergeant Young-Jin Go and former Sergeant Kim Jin-Goo, who returned to the family's arms with the DMZ harmful excavation project, which began with the current government, also visited the event alongside President Moon.

Independent activist and daughter of the teacher of the Wilderness of the Wilderness, the spouse of a victim of the March 15th Masan, the spouse and children of the late Governors Shin Chang-seop of Jeonju City Hall and the late Seongju County Officer Go Jae-ho of Seongju County Office.

The Blue House explained, "This memorial day of the Memorial Day meant that the state must remember and take responsibility for the sacrifice of the ordinary but great people who saved the country from all patriotic scenes."
