Once police stopped the car, suspicions arose that the three men, including the driver, were under the influence of drugs. They were therefore allowed to accompany the police for sampling.
The driver is suspected of gross illegal driving, drunken driving and violent resistance, when he first refused to follow the police after the stop. Passengers are suspected of drug offenses.
