On Wednesday morning, in the Kråkeneset in Alta, a 650 meter long and 40 meter deep landmass pulled eight buildings down into the fjord due to a landslide.

The residents in Kråkeneset contacted the authorities days before the first race, when among other things they discovered that abnormally much water in the wells and even cracks in the ground.

- Now the houses and holes are out in the sea. It made a very strong impression to see when the houses just disappeared into the water, said Monica Nielsen, who is municipal council in Alta to the newspaper VG, after the first race.

According to Norwegian VG, geologists said that they could expect more races, of a smaller nature, after the first landslide.

And they got it right.

Now the same area has been hit by a new drag that pulled a large piece of the E6 with it and created a large hole.

No persons were injured during any of the breed.
