"The police detained a previously convicted man suspected of stealing money from a blockade," RIA Novosti quotes the Interior Ministry.
According to the agency, the suspect, along with a friend, came to the woman’s apartment under the guise of masters to install water meters. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a man stole 85 thousand rubles from a woman’s bag.
A criminal case has been opened. The second suspect is wanted.
Earlier in St. Petersburg, a criminal case was opened on the theft of 21 medals and five orders of the Great Patriotic War.
