Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned his citizens today, Saturday, that the battle with Covid-19 disease is not over, and called on them to prepare to live "for a long time" with the virus, noting that a wedding party contributed to a new rise in the number of infections in the country.

"We witnessed a climax in this pandemic, and the source was a wedding ceremony that caused problems for citizens and medical teams and losses for the economy and the health system in the country," Rouhani said during the weekly meeting of the National Committee to Combat the Epidemic.

He said that people should not think that "this disease will be eliminated within 15 days or a month, so we must follow health instructions for a long time."

NATO plan
For his part, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that the alliance is preparing specific plans to prepare for a possible second wave of the Corona pandemic.

Stoltenberg said in press statements that the goal is to move in a coordinated manner in the fight against the virus, adding that plans must be coordinated in a way that enables the help of NATO member countries and partner countries better and faster in fighting the Corona virus.

Stoltenberg said that NATO would soon finalize plans for submission to NATO defense ministers for consultations in mid-June, during a virtual meeting.

WHO and muzzles
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) changed its stutter masks on Friday, catching up with the global trend when it recommended use in crowded public places to stop a Corona virus infection.

However, the UN health agency stressed that masks can increase health risks if people contaminate them by touching them with dirty hands.

"The muzzles can create a false sense of safety," said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Gebresus.

India's crematoria is struggling

Cyprus attracts tourists
