Like every year, several outstanding figures or voices in the French audiovisual landscape will change channels or roles at the start of the new school year. For the moment, it is mainly the radios, RTL and RMC in the lead, which dominate the media transfer window.

- RMC rejuvenates its grid

According to the Parisian, Jean-Jacques Bourdin has decided to stop presenting the RMC morning show that he has been hosting for 19 years, but will keep the political interview at 8:30 am which has made his reputation. Information which has not yet been officially confirmed or denied.

His replacement is not yet known but RMC could take the opportunity to rejuvenate and feminize its notoriously very masculine antenna, by appointing in its place the BFMTV journalist Apolline de Malherbe who is already the joker of Jean-Jacques Bourdin.

At the other end of its grid, RMC, whose audience is generally declining, also reviews its football programs which fill its afternoons and evenings. Exit Christophe Dugarry and his show "Team Duga", broadcast from Monday to Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and places two young voices in football and "home" products, Mohamed Bouhafsi and Jean-Louis Tourre, who will present "Top of the foot ", on an extended schedule (18-21H).

In addition, Willy Sagnol announced the end of his Friday show. And Vincent Moscato, who will remain the last consultant-host at the head of a station show, will get an hour off for his "Super Moscato show" (3 pm-6pm instead of 4 pm-6pm).

Philippe Lellouche, meanwhile, was deprived of its broadcast on Tuesday, a decision that fell after being criticized (notably by the station's unions) for sexist and misogynist comments.

- Renewal operation at RTL

RTL, still engaged in a close duel with France Inter for the supremacy of radio audiences (the two stations were equal in audience share in the latest wave of Médiamétrie, but Inter is ahead in number of listeners) also announced serial changes.

After 9 years on the air, Stéphane Bern is paying the price for this renewal operation. His daily program "A la bonne heure" will be replaced by a game presented by Bruno Guillon. The latter also remains at the controls of the morning of Fun Radio which belongs like RTL to the group M6.

And the duo Sidonie Bonnec-Thomas Hugues, at the head of "Curiosity is a nasty flaw", broadcast in the early afternoon, will also leave the radio.

In addition, Jacques Pradel announced the cessation in July of his daily "The hour of the crime", launched in 2010. The veteran of PAF could inherit a new non-daily appointment or a digital broadcast.

- Laurent Ruquier stops "ONPC"

The announcement fell in full containment, but was in gestation for months: Laurent Ruquier will not resume in September "We are not lying" on France 2, the talk show on Saturday evening he presented for 14 years and whose audience had eroded in recent years. The host said in April to think of other projects with the public channel, in particular for this coveted time slot.

- Europe 1 recovers Stéphane Bern

It's a homecoming: Stéphane Bern is going to come back to school on Europe 1 to launch a new daily program with Matthieu Noël, his former accomplice whom he launched on the radio 15 years ago. It will be an entertainment around History.

On the other hand, Europe 1 has decided to separate from journalist Bernard Poirette (ex-RTL) who has been presenting his morning show for the past two years.

- Camille Combal turns the page on Virgin Radio

Unlike Cauet, who stacks up for three years on NRJ, Camille Combal decided to stop the morning show at Virgin Radio (Lagardère group), "Virgin Tonic", which he had been presenting for 6 years. The host said in May that he had no other radio projects at the moment.

His comeback could therefore only be done on TF1 where he has carved out a nice success since 2018 ("Who wants to earn millions", "Dance with the stars", "Mask Singer", "Plan C" ...).
