On Friday, a tree exhibition was opened on Kyrkogatan in Karlskrona. The exhibition is created by students from different schools in the municipality. In the trees are drawings depicting buildings in Karlskrona, pearls and flasks filled with notes where students have written what they think is best about the city.

- On my note it says that I like to shop for clothes, says fourth-grader Inez Olofsson Djuzelovic from the Customs School.

The tree exhibition was also a competition, where the jury selected the Customs School as the winner. In addition to the honor, they are priced at SEK 5,000.

- Some student has already proposed a pizza party and another wants us to buy slime for the money, says Anna Widell, leisure educator at the Customs School.

The decorations in the trees should remain in the summer.

- We are doing this because we want a better flow in the city, for people to walk from Stumholmen to Stortorget and to create more visitor destinations, says Anneli Robertsson, business developer at Karlskrona municipality.
