Since March 18, high schools, adult education and colleges have closed because of the corona pandemic and teaching has been conducted remotely, which has been difficult for, among other SFI students. Last week, however, Minister of Education Anna Esktröm (S) announced that these can now open again from mid-June.

SFI continues at a distance

Despite this, many SFI schools choose to continue at a distance, as the public health authority's general recommendations for adults still need to be followed to reduce the spread of infection. The recommendations include, among other things, avoiding gathering larger groups and studying from home if possible.

- The idea is that we will take up the training in August. And then we need to agree on how it should go, says Frida Flores, Rector of SFI in Eskilstuna.

She believes that you currently have a working distance education and that you sometimes take students in place one by one or in groups of five.
