Germany's Bayer Leverkusen has rejected an offer from Real Madrid to sign German rising midfielder Kay Haveritz, a news report said Friday.

The German "Bild" stated that the royal offered eighty million euros to contract the talented player who will reach 21 years later, with a loan to Leverkusen for a year, to move to Madrid in 2021.

The newspaper added that Leverkusen is committed to not losing the player for less than one hundred million euros, which is what the club needs to invest in buying other players in the upcoming transfer market.

"We can keep him for another year, and maybe we will do that," Bayer Leverkusen, director of football at Bayer Leverkusen, told Sky Network recently.

At the same time, Fuller stressed that despite the repercussions of the Corona virus epidemic, the club does not want to dispense with Haverz for less than the required amount.

It is worth noting that Bayern Munich is among the clubs that wish to join Haverz, whose current contract with Leverkusen extends until 2022.
