"Destination clean and safe" to reassure tourists. The Lille metropolitan area (MEL) unveiled, on Thursday, a brand new label for all establishments (hotels, restaurants, shops, cultural places, etc.) respecting a health charter in order to combat Covid-19.

Created in partnership with the Institut Pasteur de Lille, this charter, presented as a first in France, brings together ten commitments aimed at fighting the epidemic, such as respecting barrier gestures, social distancing, specific cleaning and disinfection places or securing air conditioning and ventilation systems.

Five committed sectors

More than 200 signatories from five sectors - hotels, culture, shopping, tourism and events - have already committed to respecting it.

“Today, hotels, restaurants, cultural places are reopening but there is still a little apprehension and, with this health logo, we are able to engage with visitors to tell them that the places they visit are in complete safety, "explained François Navarro, director of the Hello Lille attractiveness agency to AFP, referring to" pride in being the first French destination to launch this logo ".
