Nawaf Najib Fayrouz, 29, confirmed that he was able to fight the Corona virus in nine days, despite his heart disease, noting that his infection with the virus did not negatively affect his normal life.
Fayrouz said that he relied on vitamins and healthy meals to fight the virus during his quarantine in a Dubai hotel, and that the result was his complete recovery from infection.
He explained to «Emirates Today» that he had a medical smear to undergo a corona examination on May 14, after being mixed with a number of injured people, after he showed symptoms of the infection, specifically fever and cold, so he went to a medical clinic, where he was given a fever, which led to The disappearance of the two-day fever.
He added: “After three days have passed, a team from the Dubai Health Authority contacted me and informed me that the result of the examination appeared positive, and that a specialized medical team would contact me to locate the quarantine in a Dubai hotel. After a few minutes had passed, a doctor called me, asked me about my injury and whether I had any symptoms, so I told him that I only had tiredness and a slight headache. ”
Fayrouz continued: "The medical team assigned me a place for the quarantine, so I went to it immediately, and people from the concerned authorities received me and took the initiative to provide all health, nutritional and psychological services to me, and they asked me about any chronic symptoms so I told them that I am a heart patient, so they took care of my health in a distinctive way."
He pointed out that the medical team asked him to practice his life in the hotel stone naturally, and he authorized him to request meals from outside the hotel, provided that he committed to sterilization upon receipt, and he was also asked to commit to taking heart medication, vitamins and healthy meals.
He said: “After a week in quarantine, another medical smear was performed and the result appeared after two negative days. The doctors allowed me to leave the stone, go home and practice my life normally, and they assured me that I can return to my work provided that I adhere to the precautionary measures.”
He pointed out that the competent authorities conducted a medical survey for all members of his family who had contact with him before he was infected with the virus and their results were negative.
He continued that he had learned an important lesson after being infected with the virus, which is the importance of adhering to preventive measures, wearing masks and gloves, and not going to crowded areas or mixing with others, while maintaining physical distance to avoid infection with the virus.
He pointed out that the state has provided all capabilities to combat the Corona virus, and everyone must abide by health and social directives, instructions and guidelines to maintain public health and safety.
