Not next week, Moscow authorities may decide to start a new stage to remove the restrictive measures introduced due to the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. This was stated by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on the television channel "Russia 1".

The mayor recalled that on June 1 new rules were introduced. According to him, "the period when you can talk about something, how the situation is changing is seven days."

“This means that next Monday we can draw some conclusions,” Sobyanin said.

According to him, in Moscow positive dynamics continue - there are fewer detected cases of COVID-19, pneumonia, and the number of deaths has decreased. The mayor noted that Muscovites clearly comply with the requirements for maintaining social distance and mask-glove regime.

“Indeed, next week it will be possible to make more radical decisions to move forward,” said Sergei Sobyanin.

Earlier, he said that by June 8, a schedule for phasing out restrictions by July could be prepared. In this case, the dynamics of the development of the situation with coronavirus in the first week of summer, that is, after the partial relaxation of restrictive measures, will be taken into account.

“That is, by July 1, the maximum of restrictions that exist today in the city can be removed,” he said on the Russia 24 television channel.

According to him, it is necessary "step by step" to resume the work of restaurants, cafes, hotels, the tourism business.

At the same time, in an interview with TASS, the mayor emphasized that residents of the capital are likely to be able to return to a normal lifestyle only next year. Whereas the mask-glove regime can operate in Moscow until February 2021. According to him, this will depend on the timing of the development of the vaccine.

“I want to believe that in October we will receive the first large batches of the vaccine,” Sobyanin explained.

“Isolation is carried out in order to exclude the possibility of infection of military personnel and medical personnel before vaccination. For 14 days, volunteer soldiers will be examined daily by doctors of a medical institution, including measurements of blood pressure, pulse, thermometry and other procedures, ”the Ministry of Defense said.
