A large landslide occurred in the northern town of Alta, where part of the land along the coast fell entirely to the sea.

On the afternoon of the 3rd, 8 landslides, 4 cottages and 1 car were wiped out by landslides near the town of Alta in Finmark County, Norway, today (5th) British Express reported.

In the video, a huge chunk of ground is sweeping down towards the sea. From the right, it slowly began to immerse in water, and even the houses on the ground were locked. In less than three minutes, parts of the village disappeared in an instant.
A video of a rescued puppy on a drifting ground has also been released. The puppy, hiding in a pile of branches, runs out of the helicopter as soon as it finds a rescuer.

The mud-sucked puppy looks like he's floating in fear with his ears and his tail hidden behind. The rescuer gives his body to his hands so that he can help.
"I made a sandwich and heard something cracking," said Bakkebi, who was filming while at a vacation home nearby.

According to the Norwegian Water Resources Corporation, the landslide was unprecedentedly large, reaching 650 meters wide and 150 meters deep. Fortunately, it has been reported that life has not occurred.

Local authorities say they will continue to monitor the sea and sea level in preparation for further land movement.
